COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNUAL REPORT
2011

The Community Service Program allows eligible inmates to perform services for the community at no cost.  The totals listed below indicate free labor that was provided from January 1st to December 31st, for the Owensboro-Daviess County community, by this program.

1. Christmas Wish List Break down of the Christmas Wish office. Return rented tables and chairs. Return furniture to AT&T office.
2. City of Owensboro Barbeque Festival clean up.
3. Daviess Co. Detention Center Unload delivery trucks. Store archived items in bldg 1 attic.
Perform safety and site inspections.
Prepare for SAP graduations.
Maintain vehicles, garage and equipment.
Apply salt to driveway and walkways.
4. Sportcenter Assemble/disassemble basketball court.

2. Bowlware Deliver 6 beds.
3. County Complex Load/unload voting machines. Collect voting bags.
4. Daviess County Courthouse Remove snow and ice. Unload ice melt from truck. Apply salt to driveways and sidewalks. Disassemble Christmas decorations. Clean lawn & flowerbeds. Dispose of tree limbs. Move furniture.
5. Elizabeth Munday Remove snow and ice.
6. English Park Dispose of debris, drift wood and trash.
7. Habitat for Humanity Move storage buildings.
8. Judicial Building Remove snow and ice. Trim bushes.
9. Owensboro Christian Church Pick up lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
10. Owensboro Museum Move table and chairs. Return chairs and stage Riverpark Center.
11. River Park Center Assemble/Disassemble Winter Wonderland ice skating rink.
12. Salvation Army Load/unload 53 ft. trailer of clothing/rags.
13. Soap Box Derby Load/unload ramps. Set up track.
